Email the Club using corkbmxclub@gmail.com mail address, include the name and age of the person wishing to join. In the case of children aged 11 years old and under request to be added to the waiting list. In the case of 12 year olds and up- including adults- you will receive an email detailing when an assessment can be arranged.

Cycling Ireland provide insurance for all riders and therfore you will need a cycling Ireland membership to join

BMX is not for everyone. If your Child does not like BMX, having joined, we will refund your Cork BMX Club membership within the first 4 weeks. Please email the Club if you wish to be refunded. Unfortunately the Club has no input to Cycle Ireland payments and can’t refund the licence fee

Cork BMX charge 50e for annual membership per individual and a maximum of 100e per household this is a family membership and is where there are 2 or more members in a household.

A cycling Ireland membership is also required for each individual , this cost is summarised in a section below titled Cycling Ireland Costs.

New members will be provided with a bike and helmet for the FUNdamentals and Assessments and for no more than one month thereafter.

Children aged eleven and under must complete a four hour FUNdamentals training session, usually run in two x 2 hour sessions at weekends.

Membership expires on year end, this is not within our control , this is a cycling Ireland requirement, however membership includes free fundamentals training and the temporary provision of a bike and helmet.

If joining as an adult, you must choose the correct type of licence if you intend to use the track. A Cycling Supporter licence (CS-xx xx xx) does not include track insurance and does not permit holders of such licences to use the track.
